Senior volunteers befriend vulnerable seniors and make sure they are in good health.
DID YOU KNOW? Singapore’s population is rapidly ageing, growing from 440,000 Singaporeans aged 65 and above, to 900,000 in 2030 with one in four Singaporeans being 65 years or older. With seniors also living longer and healthier, their wish is to stay active and continue giving back to society.

During the launch of the Silver Volunteer Fund in 2015, President Tony Tan said: “Active ageing is simply to be engaged in life. And if you ever feel that you’ve grown old and dull, the best way to get over this feeling is to get up and do something useful. In giving and doing good, our spirits are also uplifted.”

Make a difference today and help create a Singapore where all ages can make a difference.  We are aiming to raise $10 million out of the $40 million needed by 2019.

All donations to the Silver Volunteer Fund have a dollar-to-dollar matching by the government, capped at $20 million.
